Taijiquan Grandmaster Chen Zhaosen, Male, born on 18 October 1957 in a well-known family of Taijiquan
in Chenjiagou — the origin of Chinese Taijiquan, Henan province of China,
is the 19th generation of Chen family and the 11th generation successor of Chen Style Taijiquan.
Grandmaster Chen Zhaosen is well known as a Tai Chi Master with high noble martial virtue/morals.
Under the influence of Taiji-family in his childhood, he learned family skills of Taijiquan,
weapons, internal power, push-hand and attack-defense from his father Chen Shangquan
and his uncle Chen Shangxiao.
Since then he has kept learning and practicing Taijiquan everyday no matter winter or summer, devoting his full heart on studying the secrets of Taijiquan, all of which has helped him master the marrow of Taijiquan as well as techniques, especially the Chunqiu Broadsword known as a unique skill and “ the King of Broadsword”. Since 1981 he began to teach Taijiquan in Henan, Hebei, Shanxi, Anhui, Shandong, Fujian, Jiangxi and Hainan, etc. The students he has taught are now more than ten thousand. Since 1983 he, as the instructor and director, led many Wushu teams to join many kinds of national and international Taijiquan competitions and won hundreds of gold and silver medals. |
